Energy Exchange

Energy A New Way

Energy self sufficiency for people & organisations

1st Energy provides energy self sufficiency for people and organisations who have invested in renewable energy sources such as wind, solar or combined heat & power generation.

1st Energy Exchange is a brilliant new concept in energy generation and consumption, allowing exchange members to become “virtually” self sufficient, time shifting the energy they generate, to the times they consume it, i.e. from day to night and from summer to winter.

Energy can also be geographically shifted from one location to another, allowing members to sell to each other or multisite companies to generate on one site and consume energy at other locations.

No Need For batteries

Our customers don’t need batteries, they just export their excess energy when its generated and get paid for it.

Later they buy back the energy from the exchange when they need it and they are not generating.

The 1st Energy Exchange platform manages the measurements and payments for the energy generated and consumed.

A small differential is charged for the energy consumed over generation but customers will find the cost of energy through the exchange is around one third of the current market rates.

Sell Directly to your peers

1st Energy provides generators with the ability to sell energy directly to their peers or communities without involving the large energy companies. A safe and transparent energy market for renewables.

All our contracts are underwritten by standby off-takers and generators. Just in case things don’t go to plan with your generation assets or your consumption we have you covered. Our trading platform is approved by OFGEM and is completely transparent with full visibility through our online portal.

e Generator

e Generator Partners who are primarily generators exporting most of their generated energy to the exchange. This energy can be sold on through direct peer to peer contracts or into the Energy Exchange for it to be consumed by other exchange members.

e prosumer

e Prosumer Customers who may produce energy from solar, CHP or wind, then also consume energy at other times from other exchange members. For example, a factory with solar on it’s roof can sell it’s summer daytime excess, then buy back the energy at night and in the winter months.
